A new method to study the optimum angle control of switched reluctance motors (SRM) is given in this paper. This paper discusses problems of the optimum angle control in detail. The results of numerical simulation calculation accord with the test results.The designers and the operators adopt the method given in this paper and can determine range of the optimum angle control.so that SRM obtain maximum output power and maximum efficiency when SRM operate.
