Analysis of the Practical Example of Wood Plank Pile to Prevent and Control the Shifting Sand

在开挖底面低于地下水位的基坑时 ,有时会发生流砂现象 ,造成严重后果。为此如何防治流砂成为基坑土方施工需要解决的一个技术难题。根据工程实例 ,分析流砂产生原因和条件 ,探讨有效的防治措施和有关技术问题。

At a sub-base site, if the digging is below the ground water level, sometimes the shifting sand may happened and it will cause a serious consequence. Therefore, how to prevent and control the shifting sand,is a technical key question, which should be solved in the sub-base earthwork.In this paper, according to the engineering example, the cause and condition of shifting sand is analysed. And also the present paper discusses and gives the effective prevention and control measures and the technical problem relevant to the shifting sand.
