摘要
提出了直截形纤维过滤过程模拟计算的方法。计算模型建立在Happel Kuwabara单元模型的基础上,并假设纤维对颗粒的捕获按惯性碰撞机理进行。数值模拟包括对纤维绕流流场以及颗粒在流场的运动轨迹计算两部分。模拟计算还分析了各参数,如宽高比、纤维角、颗粒直径等对直截形单纤维过滤效率的影响,为纤维过滤器优化设计提供了理论依据。
A numerical approach has been applied to simulate the filtration of a single rectangular fiber. The particle trapping has been assumed to be inertialimpactiondominated. Based on the HappleKuwabara cell model, the SIMPLE algorithm and the fourth order RungeKutta algorithm have been employed to carry out the simulation of the flow field around the fiber and the single fiber efficiency. Moreover, parameters such as aspect, particle size and fiber angle have been set to be variable in order to observe their effects on the filtration efficiency of a single rectangular fiber.
