攻樊城失荆州之战,史称关羽北伐、襄樊战役或荆州争夺战,是蜀魏争雄,吴蜀争地,关羽之死的一场著名战役。公元219年,关羽北进魏国荆襄,战初,攻势凌厉,水淹七军,威震华夏,望风而降者甚多,直逼到曹有迁都之念。然而,魏曹仁坚守待援,曹联吴派吕蒙偷袭荆州,使关羽腹背受敌,最终全军覆没,吴夺取了荆州。

It is clear that the battle to win Fancheng but losing Jingzhou,also called Guan Yu Northern Expedition,Xiangfan Battle or Jingzhou Battle,is a famous battle for Wei country and Shu country to fight for the winner,for Wu country and Shu country to win the land,among which Guan Yu was died from losing.In 219 AD,Guan Yu went north in order to conquer Wei country.At the beginning of the war,the offensive situation was quite fierce.It showed that the armies were flooded and there were many soldiers who asked to surrender.It was apparent that Cao Cao wanted to move capital to another place.However,Cao Ren insisted on waiting for help and Cao Cao effectively coordinated with Wu country to send Lu Meng to attack Jingzhou,so that Guan Yu was attacked by the enemy,and the army was eventually wiped out.Finally,Wu country captured Jingzhou.
