Fiber optic is widely applied as the web transmission media in the smart substation because of its low transmission loss,long transmission distance and wide working-frequency.In the smart substation,a large number of fiber optic is used to replace the traditional cable.The paper introduces a typical construction method of fiber laying-out.The practical application demonstrates that the method can meet the expected results,improve the construction efficiency,quality and technology level and has good overall effect.
