地勘单位管理现代化不能用推行现代化管理方法来概括,必须包括管理思想,管理组织,管理方法,管理人才和管理手段的全面现代化,而且必须具有中国地勘单位的特点。在地勘单位推行管理现代化的主要障碍有:封建主义思想的等级观念和惰性作风,大锅饭旧体制的影响,得不到上级主管单位的支持。我们认为地勘单位实现管理现代化的首要条件是地质队长的认识和决心;还要在地质职工中培养、树立管理现代化的意识;管理组织的改革也要同步进行。管理现代化是一项软科学,最好由领导机关组织管理专家进行较长时间的研究和实践。

The modernization of management in geological prospecting teams can- not be carried out merely by modernizing management methods.It must be an overall modernization of management ideology,management organiza- tion,management methods,management talents and management means. Moreover,it must have the characteristics of chinese geological prospecting tams. The main obstacles to the modernization of management in geological Prospecting teams are feudal stratum ideology,conservative ideas,influ ence from the old system of tire big-pot-meals and lack of support from up erior authorities. We realize that the chief condition for the modernization of manage- ment in geological prospecting temes is the understanding and determina- tion of team leaders.Besides,the consciousness of modernization of nanage- ment should be fostered and cultivated among the staff and workers.The reform of management organization should be carried out at the sametime. Modernization of management is a soft science.It wouldbe best if the lea- ding organs could organize management experts to do rese arch and practi- ce for some time.
