从“源语文化”视角看中医术语英译的可译性限度问题

Look at the Limits of Translatability of English Translation of TCM Terms from "Source Language Culture" Perspective

中医药学,是中华民族的瑰宝,有着数千年的历史。中医基础理论是在古代的唯物论和辩证法思想的影响和指导下形成的,以元气论为基石,以阴阳五行学说为框架。中医语言具有高度的文化浓缩性和独特性,在中医术语的英译过程中,文化术语的英译尤其重要。本文在可译性限度理论的指导下,从"源语文化"角度,分析了富含文化信息的常用中医术语的英译的可译性限度问题,并结合前人的研究成果,提出了可译性限度的方法,以供他人参考。

TCM,with thousands of years of history,is a treasure of the Chinese nation .Basic Theory of TCM is under the in-fluence and guidance of the ancient idea of the formation of materialism and dialectics to strength theory as the cornerstone of the framework of the theory of yin and yang.TCM language is highly concentrated and unique culture,in terms of traditional Chinese medicine into English,the English translation of the term culture is especially important.This paper,under the guid-ance of the limits of the theory,analyzes TCM terms translatability limit problems of the rich cultural information common Eng-lish translation from the "source culture"perspective,and presents limits translation method combining with previous research results for others'reference.
