诠释学翻译理论兴起于20世纪中叶,对当代翻译学界影响甚大,其核心观点在于"如何理解和诠释",这一理论在翻译实践环节中的运用能有效促进实践者对原语和译语沟通过程的理解。本文以新疆生产建设兵团发展历程中重大事件的英语翻译为例,探讨诠释学翻译理论在翻译教学中实践环节运用的意义和价值。

The hermeneutic translation theory flourished in the middle of 20th century,which has a huge impact on the Modern Translation Studies.Its core viewpoint concentrates on how to understand and interpret.The application of this theory in trans-lation practice can effectively help the translators to deepen the realization of the differences between the source language and the target language.This paper uses the English translation of the significant events in the development of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps as an example to discuss the meaning and value of the Hermeneutic Translation as it is used in Transla-tion Teaching.
