生态文学批评视域下的《老人与海》

On the "The Old Man and the Sea" in the Criticism Perspective of Ecological Literary

《老人与海》是海明威最成功的小说,也是一部描写"海洋和渔夫最深刻的文学作品",该小说有着深刻的思想主题、丰富的象征意义,完美表达了海明威的冰山原则,诠释了"人可以被毁灭,不能被打败"的硬汉精神。同时,《老人与海》也是一部人与自然关系的寓言故事,蕴含着丰富的生态伦理思想。本文试图从生态文学批评的视角出发,探究《老人与海》中复杂而矛盾的生态思想。

"The Old Man and the Sea"is the most successful novel of Hemingway,is a description of"the most profound works of literature for the oceans and the fisherman",which has a profound ideological theme,rich symbolism,the perfect ex-pression of the iceberg principle of Hemingway,interpretation of the tough guy's spirit of"man can be destroyed but can not be beat".Meanwhile,"The Old Man and the Sea"is also a fable of man and nature,containing an idea of ecological ethics.This paper attempts to explore the complex and contradictory ecological thought from the criticism perspective of ecological literary.
