In the massive romantic movements of Europe,the British romantic poetry is the most representative and influential. Early in the 19th century,sentimentalism has become the main performance of European romanticism ideas and creative con-cepts,which has powerfully promoted the development of the British romantic poetry.Based on this,this paper has made dis-cussions on the sentimental value of the English poetry of romanticism.
