The coming era of new media has far- reaching impact on value judgment,learning style,way of thinking and way of exchanges of contemporary university students. At the same time,the notion transformation brings challenges and opportunities to ideological and political education. To establish a harmonious interpersonal relationship with university students,we should have a clear understanding of varying environmental conditions,innovate working path based on the characteristics of the new media and strengthen work capability of university student ideological- political education.
