摘要
在翻译诸如湖南花鼓戏之类的地方戏剧的时候,文化缺省现象对翻译工作者而言是个巨大挑战。文化缺省可以提高交际效率,给异域观众带来审美愉悦,对其翻译的理论研究和实践策略值得探讨。
The cultural default in such operas as Hunan Flower- Drum Opera,in spite of its functions in improving communication efficiency and bringing aesthetic pleasure to the foreign audience,makes great challenges to translators. It is of great value to study on the relevant practical strategies as well as the translation methods.
