以弗莱的原型批评理论来比较《枕头人》与《阿甘正传》里的悲剧原型。《枕头人》中的卡图兰和《阿甘正传》中的珍妮有着相似的悲剧,都能在希腊悲剧神话中找到原型。卡图兰和珍妮有着相似的命运悲剧以及童年创伤的悲剧。
This paper applies Northrop Frye's prototype criticism theory to the comparison of the tragic prototypes in ' The Pillowman' and the movie ' Forrest Gump'. The same tragic prototypes of Katurian in ' The Pillowman' and Jenny in ' Forrest Gump' root in the Greek myths,and the tragedy of Katurian and Jenny is exhibited in their tragic fate and their tragic childhood trauma.
