Under the background of economic globalization,economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world are closer,and intercultural communication skills have become an essential skill for modern talents. This paper will briefly analyze the teacher attitude and teaching status of cross-cultural competence training in college English teaching in the new era,and discuss the important foundation and main path of cross-cultural competence training in college English teaching in the new era. Through the analysis and research of this paper,it aims to promote the improvement of college students’ intercultural communication ability in the social background in the new era.
