根据育种目标制定大白猪高繁母本新品系的综合选择指数为:I=2.272EBVNB-0.056EBVDAYS。经过5个世代的选育,2个主选性状窝产仔数和达100 kg体重日龄分别为12.17头/窝和165.18 d,每代遗传改进量分别为0.156和-2.198,基本达到了育种目标。说明指数的制定是成功的,可以应用于育种实践。

The combined selection index used in the breeding of new Yorkshire dam line with high prolificacy according to breeding objects was formulated as I=2.272EBVNB-0.056EBVDAYS.After 5 generations breeding,the two main selected traits such as total number of born and age at 100 kg weight was 12.17 piglets/litter and 165.18 d,respectively.The genetic improvements per generates was 0.156 and-2.198,respectively.The breeding objects of the new Yorkshire dam line with high prolificacy were basically reached.It was proved that the methods and index could be used in pig breeding.
