This paper introduces the present situation of the research to the question of artificial frozen soils'frost -heaving and thawing and particularity of it; the situation of it including the principle of soils'frost -heaving and thawing , the models of frost and thawing and the facts of influencing soils' thawing ; introduces the situation of the testing of some parameters about artificial frozen soils' frost - heaving and thawing ; introduces the methods to deal with such questions ; analyses the question having being in this field; and imagines the development in the future.
