The article, based on Song Shen's Vermilion Exam Paper and numerous biographies, discusses the important part families of imperial exam in 'Eight Banners' in Qing Dynasty played. As a prestigious family of imperial exam in 'Eight Banners' in Qing Dynasty, it achieved tremendously both culturally such as translating classics and writing books to expound a theory and politically working for the people and being honest in performing their official duties.
