在对西部开展生态旅游的利弊进行分析的基础上,提出了西部生态旅游发展的几点建议:进行生态旅游规划,加快形成具有生态特色的旅游区;确定生态旅游景观区生态容量,切实保护好生态旅游资源;确定其生态旅游目标市场,有重点地进行宣传促销;提高地方居民的参与程度;加强培训,努力提高从业人员素质;实施计算机管理,使生态旅游的发展建立在科学的基础上.
