Administrative division is an important factor affecting regional coordinated development. But how to objectively evaluate the role of administrative divisions,it is necessary to analyze the concept and theory. This paper discusses the multiple meanings and connotations of administrative divisions and analyzes the characteristics and problems of administrative divisions in Beijing- Tianjin- HebeiRegion. some recommendations are proposed on how to promote the Coordinated Development in Beijing- Tianjin- Hebei Region.
