On the new ideas of higher vocational English teaching mode reform oriented by the vocational demands

通过对高职英语教学现状、社会对高职学生英语能力的现实需求分析,给以职业需求为导向的高职英语教学模式改革提供新的思路:明确高职英语教学目标;教材改革;改进教学模式,还课堂于学生;提高高职院校英语教师的能力水平;确定多元化的考核形式等五个方面。

Through an analysis on the current situation of Higher Vocational English Teaching and the social demand for students’ English ability, this paper puts forward new ideas of higher vocational English teaching mode reform oriented by the vocational demands, which includes the following 5 aspects:A clear-cut teaching goal of higher vocational English;Reform of teaching material;Improvement of teaching mode;Return the classroom to students;Improvement of English teachers’ level and ability;Conformation of diversiifed evaluation form.
