需求分析理论是课程设置与建设中最基本最重要的理论基础之一。以分析大学英语选修课教学现状作为出发点,以J.D.Brown等著名学者对需求分析的研究理论为指导,同时以沈阳工业大学新开设的求职英语、时文英语选读、英美社会与文化选修课程的教学实践为基础,阐述基于需求分析理论构建新型大学英语教学模式的意义及效果。

The needs analysis theory is one of the most fundamental and important theoretical basises of curriculum design and construction.By analyzing the teaching current situation of the college English public elective courses as the starting point,applying J.D.Brown's research theory of needs analysis as the guidance as well as taking the teaching practice of the newly-established public elective courses like Employment Seeking English,Selective Reading of Current English,and British and American Culture and Society in Shenyang University of Technology as the basises,this thesis expounds the significance and effect of the construction on the new type of college English teaching mode on the basis of needs analysis theory.
