高职院校大学英语ESP教学探究

The Exploration on English for Special Purposes Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges

针对我国高职大学英语教学改革,简要回顾专门用途英语(ESP)的产生和发展以及国内外对ESP教学的研究,指出ESP教学改革发展中存在的主要问题,进而从观念转变、师资培养、课程内容设置与衔接以及教学模式改变等方面提出对我国高职大学英语ESP教学的一些思考。

Aiming at English teaching reform in higher vocational colleges,this paper briefly reviews the emergence and development of English for Special Purposes( ESP) and the research on ESP teaching at home and abroad,and comes to the point that ESP teaching fits the characteristics of college English teaching development in our country. At the same time,the paper points out the main problems in the process of current English teaching reform and development,and accordingly puts forwards some thoughts about ESP teaching from the perspectives of concept change,teachers' cultivation,syllabus design and connection,and transformation of teaching mode in higher vocational colleges.
