摘要 本文通过一个学期的试验,认为在教学中以学生为中心,鼓励学生的主动性,是训练他们在语言学习和交谈中获得技能的重要途径。 This paper describes a one-term experiment conducted in the authors English major class form sept.1999 to Dec.1999. The project is intended to encourage students autonomy, and to train students how to acquire various skills in language learning and communication .The project provided students with enough space to exert their autonomy and attained its desired goals .The beneficial effects show in three aspects: The center of teaching and learning shifts from the teacher to the student; give autonomous learning environment, students can learn more effectively; and students can acquire all round abilities.
