With the manufacture of the heat exchangers at inlet and outlet of ammonia synthesis tower in one plant as the objective for studying, the key points in the fabrication process were expounded, including quality control, welding, nondestructive test, heat treatment and assembly of tube bundle. The methods and proposals for solving the technicalproblems were finally also presented.
