《蔡宽夫诗话》是宋诗话的重要组成部分,它推崇天然自在、事出己意、日锻月炼,反对造语之病、失题之病、使事之病,考证渊博细致、有理有据,评价不偏不倚、公正得体。其作者问题历来颇有争议,学界已提出蔡居厚、蔡肇、蔡启三种观点,但迄今为止仍无定论。经过考证,《蔡宽夫诗话》的作者应该为蔡居厚。

Cai Kuanfu Poeticsis an important part of the poetics in the Song dynasty.It praises highly of the nature and freedom,trying hard to refine the word and language,and expressing itself clearly and exactly.It also opposes to use arbitrary and discretional words,and avoids the problems of deviation and over-quotation.Its textual research is erudite,meticulous and well-founded,and its evaluation is neutral and reasonable.The author of Cai Kuanfu Poetics has always been controversial.Although scholars have presented three possible persons,Cai Juhou,Cai Zhao and Cai Qi,it is inconclusive so far.Through the textual research,this paper concludes that the author of Cai Kuanfu Poetics should be Cai Juhou.
