郑道传被誉为"东方真儒",丽末鲜初批佛论思想的集大成者,正是通过他对佛教教义的系统而全面的批判,儒学才确立了朝鲜朝官方哲学的地位。而且通过他的积极阐发和努力,朱子学中的理气论、心性论等领域的诸多观念和思想亦在此后朝鲜朝性理学发展中得到进一步的继承和发扬。
As a famous Confucianist in the East,Jung Do-Jeon was comprehensive synthesist of rejecting Buddhism in between the Late Koryo's and Early Chosun Dynasty.Through His rejecting,Neo-Confucianism established the dominant position as Ideology in Chosun Dynasty,and Li Qi and Xin Xing theory of Zhu Xi's Neo-Confucianism were developed in Chosun Dynasty
