20世纪韩人在中国境内开展独立运动期间留下了很多珍贵的历史资料,由韩人李斗山创办于抗战时期的《东方战友》便是其中之一。《东方战友》创刊的目的在于向世界宣传中国抗战和被压迫民族的革命斗争,充当被压迫民族的喉舌。《东方战友》登载了大量有关中国抗战与印度、菲律宾、越南等被压迫民族革命的文章,其中关于韩国独立运动的内容占了相当部分,是研究中国境内韩国独立运动的重要史料。

In the 20^(th) century,Koreans left many important historical records in China related to their independence movement.Among these historical records,the'Fellow Solders in the Orient',a magazine established and published by a Korean named Lee Doushan in the China's war against Japanese aggression,appears very outstanding and significant.For the purpose of publicizing China's struggle against Japanese aggression and the revolutionary fights of the oppressed nations,this magazine became the mouthpiece of the nations being oppressed by imperialism.This magazine published many articles introducing events of Chinese people's desperate fights against brutal aggression of Japanese and describing national liberation movement of such oppressed nations as India,Philippines,and Vietnam.Those narrations and descriptions on Korean independence movement account for a large proportion of this magazine,offering first-hand historical records and files to scholars researching Korean independence movement inside China.
