As a special group in the foreign settlements of Shanghai,Korean ticket inspectors came to work in Shanghai after Japanese annex of Korea in 1910.A survey on the living conditions and organizational structure of these Korean ticket inspectors as well as their participation in labor movement might offer more information could be discovered on the traffic conditions in those foreign settlements of Shanghai and even much insight on the evolution of politics,interactional relations,and ethnic relations in these foreign settlements.In this way,more precise understanding could be made on the characteristics of Korean community and their complex relations of political and social connections with other ethnic groups in this area.
