当代韩国与荀子的和谐思想

Xunzi's Idea of Harmony and Contemporary ROK

21世纪,韩国有很多意料之外的社会问题与日俱增,如两极分化而导致的贫富差距、城乡差距日益拉大,社会高龄化引起的养老负担,随着通信设备和科学技术的快速发展而出现的代沟问题等等。这基本上都是由西方的以"个人"为主的价值观而导致的。荀子思想里存在的"集体发展涵盖个人发展","个人发展促进集体发展"的"和谐"精神,正在慢慢成为从"集体主义文化"转型到"个人主义文化"的当今韩国社会必需的文化基础。

Many unexpected social problems occur in ROK in 21st century,including the even worse split between the poor and the rich in the economic development,the wider gap between the urban and the rural areas,the increasingly heavier and oppressing burden of pension due to aging of whole population,and the more and more serious'generation gap'in pace with the drastic innovation on science,technology,and communication facilities.All these problems are inflicted by the western value led by'individualism'.The spirit of'harmony',outlined by such value as'collective development containing individual development',and'collective development promoted by individual development',which originated from idea of Xunzi,a classic philosopher of Chinese ancient history,could be positioned as the essential cultural foundation of contemporary society of ROK in its gradual transition from'collectivist culture'to'individualist culture'.
