中西部地区老工业基地城市转型研究——以包头市为例

Research of urban transformation in the Midwest old industrial base:A case study of Baotou

中西部老工业城市转型对于推动区域经济发展和产业升级具有重要意义。本文以代表性城市包头市为案例,综合运用统计分析和SSM分析方法,对包头市2005-2010年各产业部门进行初步探讨。研究发现,在包头市的产业结构中,第一产业偏低,第二产业偏高,第三产业虚高,传统重工业占有主导地位;其产业结构演进表明,第一、二产业比重逐步下降,第三产业不断提升;包头市经济增长总体略慢于内蒙古自治区,虽有较多部门发展迅速,地位不断上升,但夕阳衰退部门比重较大,产业结构尚存在不足,应及时调整产业结构,加快城市转型步伐。

The Midwest old industrial city transformation is of great significance for promoting regional economic development and industrial upgrading.This paper which takes the representative city Baotou as a case,using the method of statistical analysis and SSM analysis,discusses various industry departments in Baotou city from 2005to 2010.Research findings show that in Baotou industrial structure the primary industry is on the low side and secondary industry is on the high side,while tertiary industry presents unreasonably high and the traditional heavy industry has predominance.According to the evolution of industrial structure,the proportions of primary industry and secondary industry decline gradually,while tertiary industry is rising.Overall,economic growth in Baotou city is slightly slower than Inner Mongolia autonomous region.Although more sectors develop rapidly,industrial structure still has deficiencies because of the larger proportion of sunset recession sector.Therefore,we should timely adjust the industrial structure and speed up the pace of urban transformation.
