西部边疆少数民族地区高等师范院校的建设与发展

Construction and Development of Higher Teacher Colleges in Frontier Minority Regions

边疆少数民族地区的高等师范院校肩负着培养少数民族师资、促进民族教育发展 ,培养多种人才 ,促进地区经济社会发展的重任 ;在维护民族团结 ,促进与周边邻国的交流与合作上具有重要作用。本文认为 ,针对当前所面临的困难 ,这类院校应努力做到以下几点 :一 ,该类院校要在改革中发展 ,办出自己的特色 ;二 ,政府应对这类院校给以特殊的政策性支持 ;三 ,取得国内院校的协作与支持 ,提高这类学校的国际竞争力 。

Higher teacher colleges in frontier minority regions shoulder the heavy responsibility of training minority teachers and other talents, promoting minority education developelent and economic and social progress, maintaining unity among ethnic groups and developing contact and cooperation with neighboring countries. Given current difficulties in the development of these colleges, effors should be made in the aspects as follows. First, these colleges should carry out reforms and develop their own distinctive fuctures; second, the government should give them support by adopting special preference policies; third, they should turn to command coordination and support from domestic colleges to enhance their international competitive edge and to carry out educational exchange and cooperation with neighboring countries.
