高考与统一高考之辩——兼与孙东东教授商榷

Distinguishing the College Entrance Examination and the Unified National College Entrance Examination --Discussing with Professor Sun Dongdong

27年来,中国的高考制度没有进行革命性的改革,其根本原因 是诸多论者没有区分高考与统一高考。考试作为一种检测手段,几乎没有 人认为在教育或高等教育中要取消考试。很多人对现行高考的批评或批 判,实际上是对高考统一性的批评或批判。以"存在四大误区"为由所指责 的对象,应是统一高考制度而不是高考制度;高考不是问题,统一高考是个 问题。

In the past 27 years, there have been no revolutionary reforms in the College Entrance Examination System in China, and the basic reason is that very few people have distinguished the College Entrance Examination and the Unified National College Entrance Examination. Since examination is one way of evaluation and assessment, hardly anybody thinks that examination should be eradicated in education or higher education. A lot of criticism or even animadversion goes to the current College Entrance Examination System, and they are actually criticism and animadversion on the unification of the College Entrance Examination System. The 'Four Errors' which have been bitterly criticized actually lie in the Unified National College Entrance Examination, but not in the College Entrance Examination. College Entrance Examination is not a problem, but the Unified National College Entrance Examination is.
