摘要
本文讨论把握研究对象对于对外汉语教学学科建设的重要性。对外汉语教学活动与其他教学活动相比,有其本质特点和规律,这一研究内容的专门性决定了对外汉语教学是一门独立的社会科学学科。把握住对外汉语教学活动这一研究对象是对外汉语教学学科建设的关键。为使学科健康发展,不仅要明确研究对象、把握研究对象,还要正确认识研究对象,特别是搞清对外汉语教学跟语文教学的区别。强调对外汉语教学的特殊性时,应注意避免以偏概全、以点代面的片面性认识。
This paper discusses the importance of grasping the research object to the building of the discipline of teaching Chinese as a foreign language(TCFL).Compared with teaching other subjects,TCFL has its own intrinsic features and rules.The specialism of the research content makes TCFL an independent academic discipline of social sciences.The key to the building of this discipline is to grasp its research object—the activity of TCFL.Sound development of the discipline depends on the researchers' clear defining of and holding onto the research object,understanding its characteristics,and,more importantly,making a clear distinction between teaching Chinese to foreigners and teaching Chinese to native speakers.While the specificity of TCFL is emphasized,it is also important to avoid partial understanding or taking a part for the whole.
