The support of energy and resources is underlying foundation for a nation’s economic development.The significance of ocean exploitation engineering equipment and deep-sea resource was expounded in the paper by analyzing on the growing shortage of energy and resources.The paper also put forward that it is an inevitable choice for the rising of marine power to develop the deep-sea engineering equipment,go further outbound to protect China’s rights and interests,as well as exploit deep-sea resources.
