虹桥商务区位于上海市中心城区西侧,地处长三角地区交通网络的中心位置,是上海一南京发展轴线和上海一杭州发展轴线的交汇点。规划区域总占地面积86.6平方公里,涉及闵行、长宁、青浦、嘉定4个行政区,其中主功能区27平方公里。目前重点开发核心区4.7平方公里,开发规模为地上建筑面积约500万平方米,地下约260万平方米。虹桥商务区将建设成为上海现代服务业的集聚区、上海国际贸易中心建设的新平台、面向国内外企业总部、贸易机构和经济组织的汇集地,以及服务长三角地区、服务长江流域、服务全国的高端商务中心。

HongQiao bussiness zone is located in the west part of ShangHai downtown area.It is also in the center of Yangtze river transportation network which is the meeting point of ShangHai-NangJing and ShangHai-HangZhou axis.Its overral planning area covers an area of 86.6 square kilometers which includes 4 districts:Mingha ng,Changning,Qingpu,Jiading.The main functional area has 27 square kilometers.The key development zone covers an area of 4.7 square kilometers,which includes 5 million square meters construction above ground and 2.6 square meters construction under ground.HongQiao bussiness zone will be developed as cluster of morden service industry of Shanghai,new plantform of international trade center of Shanghai,headquarter of domestic and international companies,and hub of trade and economical organization.It will also become the top bussiness center serving for Yangtze river delta and whole country.
