霍然的《宋代美学思潮》中讲:它不是汹涌澎湃的洪波巨浪,裹挟着众多的波涛向前奔腾,而更像一泓滔滔前行的河水,在缓缓流动中显露出韵味悠长的环环涟漪,作为新一代的陶艺人,我们在继承传统的同时不能一味仿古,而需要以今人的人文思想进行创新,并传播下去。

Huo Ran writes in his book Ideological trend of Aesthetics of Song Dynasty》: It is not turbulent riptide carrying much wave which runs forward, but like a stream which goes forward, and exhibits its ripes during its flow. As new generation of ceramics artists, we should not follow antiquity blindly when we inherit tradition, but we should innovate and spread the ceramics art by current humanistic ideas.
