经过3年多的改造,上海虹桥国际机场1号航站楼改造工程顺利完工,并于2018年10月15日全面投入使用。启用后,虹桥机场1号航站楼国内出港值机、行李托运、安检、登机四个环节全面引入自助服务设备,虹桥机场1号航站楼变身国内自助流程比例最高的航站楼,这座中国民航大型枢纽机场中年龄最长的航站楼再度成为业界标杆。
The Terminal 1 building of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport was put into use on Oct 15, after a renovation that took more than three years. Self-service equipment has been installed in the check-in, luggage, security check and boarding areas, and the terminal offers the most self-service facilities nationwide. Industry insiders said this terminal, one of the oldest in China, sets the trend for the aviation industry again.
