新形势下江苏省高校增设物联网工程专业的必要性和可行性分析

Analysis on Necessity and Feasibility in Application of Internet of Things Engineering Specialty in Jiangsu University Under the New Situation

物联网是一种拥有广泛应用前景的新兴产业,急需高校培养大量的高素质人才,目前很多高校从自身发展等角度考虑都准备设立物联网相关专业.以笔者所在高校申报物联网工程专业的经验出发,详细描述了物联网工程专业申报的必要性和可行性,其中包括物联网发展背景、政策支持、社会需求以及专业建设必须具备的基础条件等,最后给出专业建设的指导思想和总体目标.为全国物联网专业建设提供参考,促进物联网的进一步发展.

IoT( Internet of Things) is one kind of new industries with broad application prospects,which urgently needs large number of high-quality talents trained in colleges and universities. Nowadays many colleges and universities intend to establish the related specialty in accordance with the perspective of their own development. Based on author's experience,detail description of the necessity and feasibility in the application of IoT engineering specialty are given,including development backgrounds,policies and social needs as well as basic requirements of specialty building. At last,the guiding ideology and the goals of professional construction are proposed to support reference and to promote further development of IoT.
