张天翼、沈从文都市讽刺小说比较论

A Comparative Study of Urban Satiric Novels by Zhang Tianyu and Shen Congwen

众人所周知,张天翼是"左翼"作家群体的后起之秀,沈从文是"京派"文人团体的中流砥柱。从30年代到40年代初期,张天翼集中创作出一系列讽刺小说,拓宽了战时文学的维度。几乎同时,沈从文以都市为背景的作品也具有讽刺意味。在以往的研究中,研究者偏于分析沈从文或张天翼讽刺作品的特点,而从未将二人讽刺小说的文本进行对比分析。有鉴于此,论文试从创作动机、人物塑造和讽刺技巧三方面对张天翼与沈从文的讽刺小说进行比较研究。分析在大时代背景下,二人作品中所蕴含的一致性与差异性。

As is well known,Zhang Tianyu is an up-rising star of 'the Left'writer community while Shen Congwen is the backbone of the intellectual community of the Beijing school. From the 1930 s to the early 1940 s,Zhang Tianyu had produced a series of satiric novels and had broadened the range of literature during the Anti-Japanese War; and almost at the same time,Shen Congwen's works set in cities were highly satirical. In previous studies,scholars had been inclined to analyze the characteristics of satirical works by Zhang Tianyu and Shen Congwen respectively without a comparative analysis of their satirical novels. Therefore,this paper attempts to venture a comparative analysis of satirical novels by Zhang Tianyu and Shen Congwen in terms of their writing motives,characterization and satire skills so as to figure out their similarities and differences in the historical context of the great time.
