Motivational Analysis of Chinese Simple Symbols Based on Ancient Social Life

针对语言学界独体汉字没有理据性的偏见,运用索绪尔的能指与所指理论分析了独体汉字的理据性。独体字的形体构造表明:其部件能引起对远古社会生活的联想,它与意义之间有理据性现象。独体字的结构解析有助于了解汉字的字形表意功能。

In view of the bias that there is no motivation of Chinese simple symbols in linguistic field,Saussure's theory of the signifier and the signified was adopted to analyze the motivation of Chinese simple symbols.Their structures show that the association of ancient social life can be caused by its components,and there is a relationship of motivation between them and their meanings.The analysis of structures in simple symbols is helpful to understand their ideographic functions.
