文学翻译承担着信息交流和文化交流的双重任务,其中文化交流的完成依赖于文学作品中富有文化内涵表达的翻译。但由于文化的独特性和英汉两种文化间的巨大差异,文化翻译一直是文学翻译中的难点,因此探讨和总结文学作品外译中常用的文化翻译方法对未来的文学翻译和文化传播都具有重要意义。因此,以鲁迅短篇小说《风波》中的文化表达的英译为例,探讨总结常用的文化翻译方法。

Literary translation needs to fulfill two tasks:information exchange and cultural communication. And the accomplishment of cultural communication depends on the translation of culture-loaded expres-sions in literary works.However,for the distinctiveness of culture and the huge gap between different cul-tures,cultural translation has always been a great challenge in literary translation.Discussing and summa-rizing the cultural translation methods used in the English version of China's literary works are very helpful to future literary translation and cultural communication.Therefore,this article takes the English version of the Storm in a Teacup as example,discusses and summarizes the cultural translation methods used in it.
