克劳蒂亚是托妮·莫里森处女作《最蓝的眼睛》中的叙述者,也是该小说的主人公之一。通过分析《最蓝的眼睛》中克劳蒂亚的成长历程,指出虽然学校环境和社会环境像精神荒原一样对克劳蒂亚的成长起着消极影响,但由于在家庭环境中父母对其从物质到精神无微不至的呵护,使她如一朵奇葩,冲破外界种种桎梏,依然成长为一位心地善良、乐观向上、阳光健康的女孩。

Claudia is both a narrator and one of the main characters in Toni Morrison’s first novel The Bluest Eye.Through reading The Bluest Eye,the paper analyzed the process of the growth of Claudia. Though,like Spiritual Wasteland,school environment and social environment played negative role on her growth,her family environment including her parents’physical and spiritual care made her a kind,happy and healthy girl,who is like a wonderful flower.
