Binary Opposite Structure in Love by Morrison

试图从结构主义视角的二元对立结构出发,探析莫里森小说《爱》。分别从父权制下的亲情、友情和爱情信任与背叛;历时与共时下的选择:逃避与面对;民权运动下的不同态度:积极与消极三个方面探讨黑人作为少数族裔,在异化环境中的矛盾与尴尬,以及如何应对此种状态的探索。此外,更进一步探讨黑人民权运动多大程度上益于黑人,以及黑人在民权运动中的各种表现。

Based on the binary form,this essay is to explore the story of Love by Toni Morrison according to three perspectives:firstly,the trust and betrayal of kinship,friendship and love;secondly,the escape and confronting in diachronic and synchronic choices;last but not the least is the active and passive issue under the situation of civil rights movement.As a minority,blacks struggled hardly to hunt a way in such alienated and embarrassed environment of contradiction.Besides,Morrison further exploited how much benefits of black civil war to blacks and the performances of blacks in civil rights movement.
