Analysis of Female Moral Outlook from Perspective of Tennyson's Idylls of the King

丁尼生为表现维多利亚时代的女性特征,在《国王的叙事诗》塑造出吉娜薇、艾妮、伊莲和薇薇安等四位主要女性角色,她们选择了不同的人生道路实现自身价值,但只有心中充满爱、甘于无私奉献的女性才会得到人们的崇敬,符合维多利亚时期的主流道德观。

In Idylls of the King,to present the characteristics of women in the Victorian age,Tennyson created four main characters:Guinevere,Enid,Elaine and Vivien,who followed different roads to fulfill their value of life and among them only those that lived by love and made selfless dedication for love could win adoration and respect from their family and society.
