大学校训的文化解读——以华北理工大学为例

Cultural Interpretation of University Motto:A Case Study of North China University of Science and Technology

校训是一所学校师生共同遵守的基本行为准则与道德规范,反映着大学的理想、信念和追求,是大学文化中最稳定、最核心的要素。华北理工大学在多年的办学历史中凝练出"明德博学勤奋求实"的八字校训。对此本文从哲学、历史、文化的视角分别进行了解读,旨在客观把握该校的办学精神和文化传承,促进该校加强大学文化建设。

Motto is the basic rules of conduct and ethics abided by the school teachers and students,which reflects the ideals,beliefs and pursuit of the University,and which is the most stable,the core elements in university culture.North China University of science and technology has refined ' Being morality,polymath,diligence and truth seeking' as the school motto in the years of school history.From the point of philosophy,history and spirit view,this paper aims to grasp the spirit of school running and cultural heritage,and promote the construction of university culture.
