Singapore's Construction of World-Class Universities and Its Enlightenment to Jiangsu's“Double First-class”Construction

新加坡政府主导教育兴国的整体设计,通过实施大学自主化改革,推动国际化办学等发展战略与具体措施,高等教育快速崛起,新加坡国立大学、南洋理工大学跻身亚洲顶尖大学之列,实现了世界一流大学的目标,形成独具特色的"新加坡模式"。新加坡的世界一流大学建设模式注重顶层设计,其行动框架与发展模式深化了后发型高校建设世界一流大学的理论与实践体系,对推动国家"双一流"战略在江苏落地实施提供了启示与路径选择。

Singapore’s higher education is rising rapidly,which could be attributed to the overall design of revitalizing the country through education,the implementation of university autonomy reform as well as the adoption of internationalized development strategy and concrete measures initiated by the government of Singapore,and Singapore National University and Nanyang Polytechnic University are among the top universities in Asia,achieving the goal of world-class university.This article concludes that Singapore’s experiences in the planning of blueprint,action framework and development model deepen the theoretical and practical system of building world-class universities and can facilitate the implementation of national'Double First-Class'strategy in Jiangsu.
