摘要
楚式青铜镜是中国铜镜艺术发展的第一个高峰,也是南楚青铜文化的代表器物。它像一部符号化的史书,将各种文化因素沉积在这些形式多样的图像之上,形成了独具特色的地方风格。这些图像符号可以折射出当时的社会现状,是春秋晚期到西汉初期楚文化艺术以及青铜冶炼技术空前繁荣的缩影,也是南楚地区文化融合以及向外进行文化价值输出的重要依据。
Chu-style bronze mirrors not only mark the first peak in the development of bronze mirrors in China but also are representative objects of southern Chu bronze culture.They are like a symbolized book of history with unique local styles through the expression of various cultural elements in their designs.These designs,reflecting the social conditions of that time,not only epitomize the prosperity of Chu culture and the high achievements of bronze metallurgy from late Spring and Autumn Period to early Western Han Dynasty,but also form the important basis for cultural merge and the diffusion of cultural values in the southern Chu region.
