The bamboo slips unearthed from Zoumalou form a very precious part of the historical cultural heritage and need proper and safe protection to guarantee their"longevity".This article mainly discusses the corrosive characteristics of these bamboo slips resulting from being buried for too long and the analysis of their causes,puts forward some suggestions on the daily care inside the water-soaked bamboo slips storerooms,and points out that the improvement of the environment of the storerooms is the key to the long preservation of these bamboo slips.The article emphasized the gradual development of applied technology and the importance of selecting anti-mould and anti-fungus measures.It also introduces the way of correctly using new and modern scientific methods to upgrade the scientific protection of bamboo and wooden artifacts.
