The development of the museology will directly affect the education and training of the professional museum personnel.The new world is changing fast and the museums will meet different kinds of severe challenges and museum professional education and training will play a more and more important role in the develoment of museum undertakings.This thesis introduces the basic situation of the globle museum professional education and training and insists that professional training and updating must be seen as a lifelong responsibility of every museum professional,and that training programmes should be based on a balanced coverage of relevant curatorial skills and management.The thoughts and experience from the developed countries in the West is worthy of our learning and thinking.
