长沙汉墓出土喇叭形器研究

Research on the Bell-shaped Objects Unearthed from Han Tombs in Changsha

本文对湖南省博物馆馆藏长沙汉墓中出土的63件喇叭形器的名称、质地、型式、年代、用途及演变等问题作了全面论述。长沙汉墓所出喇叭形器有玻璃、肉红石髓、琥珀三种质地。长沙出土的喇叭形器始见于西汉中期,流行于东汉。新莽时期以前的喇叭形器仅用做装饰品,从东汉早期开始用做耳珰,到东汉中晚期主要用做耳珰。

This paper offers a comprehensive discussion of the name,material,shape,date,application and development of the 63 bell-shaped objects unearthed from Han tombs in Changsha in the collection of Hunan Provincial Museum.The bell-shaped objects unearthed from Han tombs in Changsha fall into three categories in terms of the material used:glass,carnelian and amber.These objects fi rst appeared in the mid-Western Han Dynasty and became popular in the Eastern Han Dynasty.They were used only as ornamental objects before Wang Mang usurped the throne,but from early Eastern Han Dynasty onwards they began to be used as pendants of earrings and remained until the middle and late Eastern Han Dynasty.
